In TestFlight — coming to the App Store
Point your phone at a food, a package, a barcode, or a supplement bottle and get one number back: how well it fits you. Not a generic grade. A score adjusted for the health goals you actually set, with the reasoning shown in plain language.
Under it sits a scoring system we publish in full, deterministic wherever arithmetic can do the job, and honest about what a label cannot tell you.
How we work
Three rules we build by
They sound like principles. In practice they are engineering decisions we make every week.
Show the math
Where a number can be computed from a label with plain arithmetic, we compute it that way, and we publish the rules. Our scoring methodology is a public page, not a secret sauce.
Keep it on the device
Your goals, your history, and your location stay on your phone. What leaves the device is the minimum needed to identify a product, and we say exactly what that is.
Silence beats invention
If a label cannot answer your question, the app says nothing rather than guessing. Set a goal we cannot honestly evaluate from a package, and we leave that score alone.

Clearwater Road Studios, Inc. is an independent software company. We design, build, and support our own consumer apps for iPhone rather than taking client work.
The studio's focus is everyday health decisions that are harder than they should be. Nutrition labels are public information, but reading one in a grocery aisle and knowing what it means for your own goals is a real task. That gap is what our software is for.
Longevity Food Lab is our first product. It is in testing now with a group of TestFlight users, and it is our full attention.
